Dr. Susan Pietrzyk is a researcher, evaluator, and project director with more than 25 years of experience in international development. She has a diverse technical background in maternal and child health, food security and nutrition as well as HIV and AIDS, human rights, gender, and sexual-decision-making. Her methodological expertise centers on participatory approaches along with research and programming related to vulnerable populations as part of efforts to address health disparities, food insecurity, and inequities. She was the Principal Investigator for The DHS Program six-county study on place of delivery in Kenya. Dr. Pietrzyk has a Ph.D. in anthropology from Binghamton University.
